Fillers

Fillers are injections of solutions to fill deep folds and areas of loss of volume in the face that result from aging. Fillers are frequently used to enhance and produce beautiful lips.

There are three types of fillers:

1. Hyaluronic Acid (HA) solution that is a natural product that is present in the body tissues. H.A. products include Restylane and Juvederm, and the effects last for 9 to 12 months.

2. Collagen Solutions is produced from animal collagen. These include Evolence and Evolence Breeze. They produce a beautiful and natural look that last 9 to 15 months.

3. Calcium Hydroxylapatite is a synthetic solution that is slowly broken down by the body and the effect lasts for 18 to 24 months. This product is produced by Canderm and is called Radiesse and produces excellent and long lasting results.
